Privacy Policy

• Account data: your email and name, via our authentication provider (Clerk), so we can sign you in and tie creations to you.
• Creation data: the invite details you enter (names, dates, venue), stored so you can edit and re-download. If you add music, the audio file you upload is stored too, so it can be rendered into your film. Replacing or removing the track deletes that file once no invite of yours still uses it.
• Purchase data: your credit balance and order history. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Usage & device data: analytics and error diagnostics (via PostHog, hosted in the EU) to understand how the product is used and to fix problems. We honour your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting: switch it on and we collect no analytics from you at all. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

To provide the Service (render and deliver your invite), process payments, keep your creations available across devices, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interests in improving and securing the Service. You can object to analytics by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser, which we honour.

We use trusted processors to run the Service: Clerk (authentication), Convex (database), Stripe and Autumn (payments/entitlements), Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare (rendering and delivery), Vercel (hosting), and PostHog (analytics/errors). They process data on our instructions only. We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

We keep account and creation data while your account is active. Delete a creation any time from your dashboard; request full account deletion by contacting us. We retain the minimum purchase records required for accounting and tax.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@invitesforall.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
